Stayed for 2 nights with group of stag, my brother. The staff were all helpful and accommodating. The bar area is large and well stocked with a very good food trade to the locals.
Large outdoor area including tables chairs and complimentary blankets for cold nights. It also has a covering to keep dry.
Family orientated menus with reasonable prices for quality food. The price of drinks were in line with this part of country- not Dublin!
The location is over the bridge from town approx 0.5km away which when the weather is not favourable means you may want a taxi which was readily available and reasonable. The hotel has ties with a club in town so personalised passes were made available to us.
The rooms are well heated comfortable and well kept. Our large room ground floor had double and single bed, tv, lockers, table, tea/coffee so we were happy. Upstairs room was smaller with same but two single beds. Toilet room with complimentary gels etc good shower and heated towel rail.
Only 1 issue - a live palm tree growing between bar and reception is not lit well (walked into it twice!!).
Upon checkout we were given a bottle of water and a coffee free!! Staff all said goodbye as we saw them arriving/leaving for work. Very friendly and would recommend to anyone.
