My sister and I stayed in McMenamins for 1 night on our trip. ( which wasn't enough) We found Seamus very good to deal with and his breakfast which we couldn't take full advantage of was excellent. He even drove us to the ferry in the morning at a cheaper price than a cab!

Just sensational, but book early-it gets very booked up, especially for the opera festival. And bring walking shoes- Wexford is great to walk around, and is easier to get around that way anyway. Just don't eat too much for dinner- you'll need all; the room for the fish of the day- freshly caught- at breakfast!

We stayed at McMenamin's for three nights, using it as a base to visit the area. We selected McMenamin's based on others' reviews and were not disappointed. We had a very comforable, quiet and spacious room on the first floor of this charming Victorian house. Shaemus and Kay made us feel welcome and were always full of ideas and suggestions to make our stay in the Wexford area more enjoyable, Breakfasts were excellent.

Our stay at McMenamin's Townhouse was wonderful. Mr. McMenamin is just as charming as his beautiful town house. We had the best sleep in what has to be the most comfortable bed in all of Ireland. Not only was the place comfortable and charming, it was cozy and welcoming even at first sight. My husband and I travelled thoughout Ireland for 9 days and stayed at a different place each night. The McMenamin's Townhouse took the prize!!! Seamus McMenamin was so kind, he helped us plan our our route, gave us some history of Wexford, made us a wonderful breakfast and really made us feel welcome.
It was because of the McMenamin's that when we go back to Ireland, we plan on spending more time in Wexford and at the McMenamin's Townhouse.
