What a great hotel. Spacious modern rooms, clean, excellent and friendly service, a decent restaurant and free wifi in room and throughout the hotel and to top it all, absolutely excellent value. Closely located to the modern airport of Cork. I've stayed at some lousy overpriced airport hotels in my time and this ISN'T one of them. They really show how to run an airport hotel while having character but providing what a business traveller needs. The cherry on the cake would be a swimming pool, but you can't have everything! Congratulations to the management. Excellent.

In choosing a hotel to visist Cork, the name airport hotel conjures up a faceless place to kill time between journeys, not a place to choose to spend a few days. Rooms are large and modern, spacious with modern bathrooms. The ambience is all very individual, each room with its own style. Some have balconies which wrap around the room. The vistas may be of car park or the airport in the distance but somehow it manages to achieve a sense of place.
I have stayed three times in the last month on visits to Cor. I have found the staff extremely helpfiul and very personal. They have a real commitment to making it a pleasant stay. It is a welcoming place to return to at the end of the day. Food in the restaurant and bar is good- a standard way beyond what I had expected.with fresh food presented in a sophisticated style. So if you are visiting Cork on business or looking for a base to stay in the city, this is one I would highly recommend! Drives out to beautiful west Cork are also an option to spend a day or two!
The external appaearnace o the hotel belies its warm welcoming interior with a very friendly personal staff with a real commitment to ensuring a pleasant comfortable relaxing stay.

Don't let the name or external appearance of this hotel put you off staying or eating here. If you have a reason to stay anywhere near the airport side of the city, this is a great option. Spacious, clean rooms, helpful staff and nice interior.
