Very convenient for the town centre and couldn't really fault it for cleanliness. However we were there on a Friday and Saturday night. On both nights there was music coming from next door establishments until well after midnight. Not very good music at that. It sounded more like karaoke one night until they played a Shadows song. Breakfast was unusual in that you had to go to the bistro bar next door (so put more than your slippers on your feet when you go down). Scottish accommodation is famous for its hearty breakfasts. Not here. You can have fruit juice OR cereal. Then porridge OR a cooked breakfast OR croissants (or one of 3-4 other options). And make sure that you make your single cup of tea last. So go there - if you like a light breakfast from the bar next door, and you're lucky enough to be there on a night when the local musical talent are performing elsewhere.
