We were impressed by the warmth and helpfulness of our hostess who made us feel at home immediately. Our room was large, warm and beautifully clean and breakfast the next morning was lovely. We were amazed at the very modest tariff especially for such a grand building. We would recommend the Ayr Gatehouse to anyone. Even our (well behaved) dogs were made welcome - we'd been getting worried at the prospect of leaving them in the car on a cold night so finding this smashing place was a huge relief. Thank you.
