I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for anyone considering it! I stayed for 2 nights on 27th & 28th January 2012 and was greeted by a warm welcome from the owners.

The twin room was well thought out, spotless, well-presented and tastefully decorated. The beds were comortable, there was plenty of space for suitcases and for putting clothes away. The chair next to the window was a lovely touch to watch the world go by outside, adjacent to the river. The views were amazing of the castle, river and the quiet outskirts of Inverness.

The bathroom was immaculate, good size, again extremely clean and had ammenities such as cotton wool balls and cotton buds to hand. The cold water was very cold and the hot water perfectly hot! The power shower was great too!

The owners take a personal interest in making sure you have an enjoyable stay and are keen to recommend any places to go or eat during your stay. The breakfast was excellent and we were both looked after very well.

The location is perfect , there is a car park just a 1 minute walk from the front door, charging £2 per 24 hours. You can walk just a minute or two to the nearest restaurants and over the bridge into teh city centre (about a 5-10 min walk in total). Located next to the river in a quiet part of town, this makes a great location to actually enjoy the convenience of the city as well as its views.

I would definitely come back again when in Inverness and have already recommended it to family and friends.
