Stayed here 4 nights in a 6-person female dorm room. Hotel location right up the street from Inverness Castle, about a 5-10 minute walk from the city center and transit centers (bus and train stations). Free WiFi internet available throughout the building. Computer and printer available in lounge for a fee. Fully stocked (but cramped) kitchen available for guest use. Laundry service available for 5 pounds (wash, dry, and fold). Breakfast is served in the morning for varying prices, depending on what you want. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate is available 24/7, and free.
Toilet and shower facilities are separate from each other (and the rooms) and are kept very clean. Shower stalls are pretty spacious and have plenty of hot water.
Bedrooms are on the small side (for the number of beds in them) and can quickly get rather cramped, especially since the bunks are rather low to the floor, preventing luggage from being stashed under them. The beds themselves are very firm and not especially comfortable. That in combination with the old pillows made for a sore neck and back every morning.
Good location and decent value, but I doubt I'd stay there again, unless they invest in some new pillows and mattresses.
