We stumbled upon the Vermont in Aviemore by accident and am so happy that we did.
Ellen was very accomodating, and we were made very welcome from the first minute we entered.
Prices were amazingly reasonable in comparison with some of the neighbouring establishments.
We are given a choice of rooms, which we both very clean and well presented and equiped. The beds were comfortable.
Plenty of information and advice with regards to local days out was available.
Breakfast was of a good standard and Ellen was very helpful at all times.
Will be happy to stay again next time that I am in the area.

My daughter and I spent 10 great days in Aviemore. Ellen was a wonderful hostess (hardly saw George). Room was clean and spacious and the access to town was great. Good location for reaching Inverness where tours begin. A wonderful steam train luncheon, a ride up the Cairngorm Mt and lots to do if you are able. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Good central location but arrive early as there is restricted parking within premises. Room was adequate but the pillows were past their sell by date. Breakfast was disappointing with salty bacon and poor quality sausages. This was surprising since Aviemore has a first class butchers' shop with lots of top quality sausages and black puddings. Be prepared to get up early as breakfast is srtictly at 8.30 am.

Perfectly average, clean, with fairly comfortable bed. RIght on the main street, which made it a little noisy for a light sleeper. Breakfast was fair. Convenient to shops and food.
