This clean, comfortable B&B is on a quiet, dead-end street, but is only a five-minute walk from downtown pubs and restaurants. The decor is artfully cluttered, with collections of everything from cranberry glass and perfume bottles, to decor related to pugs (the dogs) filling the common rooms. The bed was very comfortable (the best bed of our month's holiday in Scotland!), the room was spacious, and the reading light by the bed was good. The breakfast was fine: B&B breakfasts in Scotland don't vary much and this one is up to par. Note that street parking can sometimes be a problem. During our four-night stay, we occasionally had to park a five-minute walk away.
