four of us stayed at 94dr and totally loved it !
we are all from Glasgow and had various reasons to be in Edinburgh for one overnite stay

I loved the look of this place from the web site but the reality of it outshone any pix!
very cool and stylish decor
immaculate and I want to completely redecorate our house now!!

Paul is the most welcoming and friendly host and cooks a very mean breakfast too! It was amazing and we also chatted to some other guests in the hotel so it was great fun,

we had what he called a POSH room and it was gorgeous!
our pals had the other POSH room and they loved that too.

Please choose this bnb over any other, in fact bnb really undesells it as the rooms are so much nicer than many 5 star hotels we have stayed in

We'd like to echo all the great comments already listed for this gem of a B&B. We stayed for two nights and couldn't find fault- warm hospitality; AMAZING breakfasts; comfy bed. We stayed in the cheapest/smallest room and it was perfect for our needs. We were situated on the garden side of the house, and as 94DR is on a main road perhaps this would be the best option if you're a light sleeper. We'll be back!!

94DR is 5-star luxury but at an affordable price. It is a delightful boutique B&B, furnished in a contemporary style with traditional Scottish touches and quality fixtures and fittings throughout.

Paul is a fantastic chef and served up delicious breakfasts each morning in the lovely conservatory overlooking the garden. Breakfasts were not only substantial, but a lot of care had gone into the presentation and use of quality ingredients and fresh seasonal produce. We even had the option of a breakfast box delivered to our room if we wanted the luxury of sleeping in, but we were lured out of bed by the temptation of what was getting whipped up downstairs!

Paul and John were wonderful hosts and we felt really looked after during our stay. We appreciated the all the special touches, including sweet treats in our room every evening, bucks fizz for New Year’s breakfast and a small gift box of chocolates on New Year’s Day. They really wanted us to make the most of our stay and were happy to spend time providing recommendations and bookings on our behalf.

We loved our stay so much we’ve booked to return again in May! In the meantime we’ll be recommending this place to all of our friends.

We spent 2 nights at 94DR in Dec 2011, our second stay in 2011 as we were so impressed the first time we had to return.

Stylish rooms and facilities, with a cosy lounge room to retire to after a night out in Edinburgh. Amazing home made breakfasts with menus changing each day. Bus stop a few paces outside the front door, taking you into Edinburgh in 10 minutes.

Overall this is a boutique B&B of a very high standard but its all surpassed by the brilliant hospitality which you will experience on arrival!

We will be staying here again!
