This was my second stay at Balmuirfield House and again it was faultless. We had brought along a bottle of bubbly that Stuart very kindly opened and served for us infront of the roaring log fire! Nothing is too much trouble for Stuart and Morag and you are made to feel very welcome in the B&B. The rooms are gorgeous and I have already and will continue to recomend this place to everyone.

My wife and I stayed here January 2012, this is as good as a B&B can be and so much more. The house is delightful, we were in room 4 and it's a lovely place. Stuart and Morag are welcoming hosts and cooked us a very nice dinner, combine this with beautiful surroundings, a log fire and you could want no more.

I live in Edinburgh but booked myself in for a couple of nights to work on my novel in peace and quiet. The pictures hardly do it justice. Every little detail felt luxurious, and the long experience of Morag and Stuart in the hospitality trade showed both in their deft handling of the details and in their enthusiasm for company. I had complete privacy when I needed it and lively conversation when I wanted it.

I was in gorgeous Room 4, which gave me lovely views in two directions of the wooded grounds. Even spotted a red squirrel!

Meals were all home-cooked from scratch. Just. Delicious.

It was amazing how quickly the place felt like home, and the hosts like old friends. I'll be recommending it to everyone I know.

This is a fantastic place, the patrons are incredibly friendly and the accommodation is really nice. Look nowhere else if you are coming to Dundee.
