What a little jewel of a hotel this is! I booked mainly on price but would gladly have paid more. The room was immaculate and clean with fridge and ample tea and coffee making facilities. Full size toiletries and an Egyptian cotton bath robe were extra touches I'd normally only expect in a four star hotel. Breakfast was substantial and tasty. Staff were all friendly and efficient.

we stayed here as an over night stop off on the way to fort william on the 17/11/11 and we really wished we were there for the duration staff were lovely and could'nt have been more helpful the accomodation was brill we had room no 2 which was lovely lounge area with flat screen tv and sofa and bedroom with imaculate ensuite breakfast was also to a high standard and what a lovely place to stay we will certainly be returning thank you balmoral and moffat for a memorable stay

Have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Balmoral. Our accommodation was spacious, spotlessly-clean and very comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent and on the two occasions that we ate in the Hotel in the evening the food was superb, particularly the lamb. In addition, all the staff were so helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend the Balmoral. It offered brilliant value for money.

We had a one night's stay here on our way north. We had stayed here previously and liked it so much we decided to repeat the experience this year. The room was well furnished, with it's own little kitchen area and a large bathroom with walk-in shower. A few nice little touches - a bowl of mints, plenty of tea/coffee/milk, a jar containing biscuits. Breakfast is taken in the bar - a large cooked breakfast freshly made to order with a selection of cereals, juice etc. Pity that the toast was made with cheap poor quality bread and, same as last year, the milk for the cereal appeared to be longlife.
