I was flooded out of my home I've a yr ago and as you can imagine the stress I am under battling with my insurance company and builders ,!!!! Oh yes I hear you cry.
And then I found Stobo Castle a Jewel in the crown I have. Been to many spas in the world but I can't compare from the time I stepped in the door looking like a snow man I was made to feel like a queen .
The staff were excellent very attentive , and always very helpfull nothing is ever too much to ask for.
Spotless could not fault there actually I am finding it hard to fault anything I have a tiny of things but they did not impact on my stay . I will mention them as I know it's my personal gripe lol
Breakfast should be cooked to order on the two mornings my breakfast was cold and the bacon very tough . Tiny thing honestly and I am sure if I asked they would have cooked fresh
One other is the staff in the spa are not fully trained on my first night I had my facial the young girl was still training at college when I have visited other spas they never use untrained staff on customers .
Also I never filled in any spa forms asking me about my health at any time , when visiting hoar cross hall spa I filled in a complete medical with a nurse as certain treatments conflict with my medication . I am a 52 yr old woman and I asked when the the different oils went on what was in them . Maybe something you should look at
As certain herbs conflict with my thyroxine .

But apart from that I have told everyone that it is amazing and worth every penny and I will be back you have made my year . Thankyou staff of Stobo castle

Before I forget the interior is second to none I won't mention the interior designers name but she and her team should be mentioned amazing lady with gorgeous taste and vision you can do my home when I become famous .

We loved everything, the pool and steam rooms also the hydro spa. The treatments were very relaxing and enjoyable. There are good areas to relax in, its a bit different from what we thought, but great and we would return

Stayed overnight in the Park Lodge for the first time.Usually we stay in the castle or the castle lodge. It was absolutely perfect for the 12 of us, though would have liked to see a xmas tree in the lounge even a small one. Food was up to usual standards and staff very polite and friendly. This place is spotless as is the whole castle, Housekeeping deserve a big thank you, as keeping it to this standard is no mean feat. Cant wait for our next visit.

The most recent of several visits to stobo Castle was every bit a sgood as the rest.
Quality in all departmets although ther are signs , small ones , of economies.
