We booked two rooms for ourselves and my parents for 3 nights. Rooms were well equipped and very comfortable. Good quality breakfast using local produce. A great location, just a few minutes walk from the town. Ideal base for exploring The Borders. We will definitely be back!

“Galashiels Experience”
My wife and I enjoyed our two day stay at Craigielea very much. Lovely home in a good location, comfortable, clean room, great breakfast, welcoming and friendly host, great value for money. What more could you ask for? - Ann & Peter, Melbourne, Australia

“Great Value”
We stayed with Anne in September for 4 days after reading previous reviews and must echo the previous comments.Nice room,plenty of hot water and chocolate biscuits. Who could want more.Made very welcome, with local knowledge,great breakfasts and so cheap at £50 for 2 of us. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in this area. Parking was very easy.

Super comfy bed, friendly staff and nice and clean. Who could ask for anything more for £50 for two..!!!!! Pretty fabulous i would say..!!!!

“Clean, friendly central B&B”

Central for all local amenities, quiet location and excellent views. The rooms are small but very well decorated and very clean with some lovely personal touches such as chocolate biscuits and a variety of teas. The power shower is to die for!!! Plenty of HOT water and I really didn't want to come out of it!
Gala is about an hours drive from Edinburgh through some of the loveliest countryside you could see. Beautiful local towns and walks.
