Found the Kathmore through a friend after planning a road trip to Mull. Booked the day of (it was December, so not really a problem) and we were all very pleased with our stay. Convenient to the center of town, and close to the ferry terminal. Rooms were very nice, and beds were super comfortable. The owner was very friendly and breakfast in the morning was superb. Would stay there again without question!

we stayed at kathmore on sat 5th november for one night, we were made to feel very welcome and given a lovely room, very clean and comfortable, morven is very friendly and helpfull. breakfast was great. would recommend kathmore to anyone planning an overnight stay in oban.

Stumbled upon Kathmore Guest House more by luck than judgment. Initially booked in for the one night but quickly changed this to three nights 24th - 26th Oct. As other people have said Morven is very helpful and hospitable. We were made to feel very welcome and everything is well organised with excellent choice of quality breakfasts. A short walk into town and good off road safe parking. Represents very good value and would have liked to stay longer if time had allowed. We plan to return to do some more exploration of the area but will organise this to ensure we can get accommodation at Kathmore.

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at Kathmore. Morven was a very friendly, welcoming and helpful host, especially when my GPS lady got us lost in the middle of town during "peak hour" on our way there :-) .
