My husband and I stayed for the third time and we were not disappointed hotel was lovely and the staff are all lovely food in restaurant was gorgeous and breakfast was lovely too .Christopher deserves a mention for his attentitiveness he was really brilliant Only downfall was when we went to check out an extra night porter bill for drinks was on our bill and we hadnt used this service but to be fair the receptionist took it off and said that she would have to check the signature to see who it was lol

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting Derry for the Jazz festival in May. My parents stayed also and they had a nice room at the back hence the 3/5 of rating. However our room at the end of the corridor on the ground floor had the double whammy of noise from the road and being beside a fire door that staff seemed to use and bang as they went through. This led to a very broken night's sleep.
A shame as it seems a nice hotel.
I raised the matter gently upon check-out, the girl on the desk flatly denied that staff could be to blame yet I couldn't see who else would have been using it.

Had a truly fantastic time at the Everglades, staff couldn't have been friendlier and more professional (especially considering that this was a school group booking) Food was excellent and rooms are lovely (nice rubber ducky touch!) A special thank you to Sarah on reception and the charming and astute Finian in what we felt should be re-named 'Finian's Bar'.

Part of the Hastings Hotel chain, this upscale hotel has a pretty lobby, a great hotel bar and a nice restaurant. The food was excellent, including the traditional Irish breakfast. The staff was very accommodating. Wifi internet service was available through BT online. Be aware that a 90 minute package is only good during the 24 hours that starts when you sign on. There were heaters in the room, but no a/c. This was not a problem because of the time of year, but could be an issue in the summer – you might want to investigate further. Tip – Rather than buy and use your own a/c plug adapter, borrow one from the hotel. It’s free (they just require a deposit to ensure its return).
