“Home from Home”

We recently had a 5 night stay at the Amble Inn ( 12 Jan 2012- 17thJan 2012 ) and can honestly say this is one of the best bed and breakfast establishments we have had the pleasure to stay in for a long time.

We were met by our hosts Colin and Frances who made us feel very welcome straight away.
Our room and en suite bathroom ( The Burren Room ) were spotless . The bed was very comfy and the shower excellent as were the other facilities.

What can we say about the breakfasts !!!! Absolutely fantastic. Thank you.

Colin and Frances are excellent hosts and very knowledgeable about the local area. (Colin likes the wee leprechauns ha ha)

We will definitely stay with them again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Once again a big thank you to you both.

Ebbie and Derek. x

“We were treated like family!”

From our first email contact with Colm, we were treated like family. So when we arrived we were not surprised to feel that we had known him forever. This was our first trip to Ireland, and Colm was the first local person we had the opportunity to meet. What a treat! His knowledge of the area and its history helped us get oriented for our time in this beautiful country. Our room was lovely and very comfortable, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, but it's our time visiting with Colm and Frances that we will remember for years to come! Nancy and Blaine

We were met with a warm and genuine greeting by Colm and Frances on arrival. Their willingness to share their considerable local knowledge proved invaluable in planing our travels and enhanced our understanding of the beautiful Mournes. Every recommendation.

Honestly I have so many good things to say about our time staying with Colm and Frances, that I would need more than 50 characters. You could not ask for a better B&B or a couple. They made us feel so welcome and took great pity on me when my husband golfed and I was left behind. I learned a great deal about the county and the surrounding area. THANK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART you lovely lovely couple.
