The room was clean and nicely decorated, Barbara and Pat were friendly. The bathroom was nice as well. BUT...we requested en-suite and were given a bathroom next door to our room instead which to me wasn't worth the price we paid (you pay more for en suite usually). The room was very noisy due to traffic and airplanes, which isn't the hosts' fault, but it made for a sleepless night. Parking nearly impossible--don't take a car! Breakfast was nice enough though I wouldn't say over generous. Overall I wouldn't stay again.

Wow! I have trouble comprehending some of the negative reviews of this B&B. Barbara and Pat were amazingly friendly and helpful to us. We stayed with them for 3 nights at the start of our month-long tour, stored our bicycle bags with them, then came back for the last night before flying home. They helped us find places to buy last-minute supplies, called for a taxi for us, helped us route some traveling, etc. etc. They even let us take over their back garden to assemble and then take apart our bicycles. The rooms were indeed on the small side, but this is to be expected overseas. They were clean, breakfast was plentiful and filled with choices, and the hosts were friendly and fun to talk to. I plan to recommend Barbara's B&B to any friends who are going to London. If I am lucky enough to travel there again myself, I definitely intend to book rooms there.

We made the mistake of not reading the reviews here and booked this B&B for two nights before before our flight home from Heathrow. Barbara and Pat were both pleasant - not really friendly or eager to help - but pleasant enough. The room was clean, but that is the only good thing I can say about it. The two of us barely squeezed into it, but that would have been acceptable if it hadn't been on a very noisy road. I was awake half the night with the sounds of trucks, motorbikes and raucus people. Parking the car was impossible without someone else outside the car. The cost of the room was too high considering the discomfort we experienced. I wish I had read the TripAdvisor comments before booking.

Our group had a.a lovely stay on our last night in England! We enjoyed Barb and Pat's hospitality so much! The location is great, as we were able to walk along the Thames, over the bridge into Eton, then back to Windsor Castle. We also had a great supper at the Bexley Arms – a great finish to our European holiday!
