Just spent three nights at the Aitches with my husband and loved it. The owners are very helpful, and there's plenty of information on the area available. My husband loved having a chat with David in the mornings before we headed out for the day.
The lounge room is comfortable, and I loved the fact that there was a bookcase of books to read down the corridor. Having said that, I didn't get much of a chance to peruse the shelves. The parsonage is nearby, plus there is also the railway station. And the Bronte Falls (a waterfall, footbridge and "Charlotte's Chair") is within walking distance of Haworth. Not to mention "Top Withens" farm, said to be the inspiration for "Wuthering Heights". (This is mentioned on page 34 of "A Guide To Historic Haworth And The Brontes" by Mark Ward with Ann Dinsdale and Robert Swindells).
The room we were in was clean and comfortable. We had no problems with parking (we parked in the car park round the back of Aitches - ok, so we had to pay four pounds to park between 8 and 6 pm, but that's a council issue). Breakfast was delicious, and unrushed. The serving size of the cooked breakfast was just right.
This was our second stay at Aitches, and we'll definitely consider coming back for a third.
