food served in bar was cold, had to wait 30 minutes, and not fresh every pub has beter food.

I stayed one night on business. The main reason being the location which is very close to the M40 A46 junction. The hotel is looking very tired now and could do with a freshen-up. The check-in was friendly enough and I received what I thought was a pass to the car park - only to find out the next morning on check-out that I had been charged five pounds for the privilege of parking in the hotel car park! I met a business colleague for a meal and decided to eat in the bar - we were charged £32 for 2 very basic burgers and £4.70 for a bottle of water - scandalous. I wanted to use the pool and spa - but found it to be full of children having a swimming lesson - for pity sake - this is a business hotel - not a kindergarten and business travellers who have paid top price for a Hilton hotel would expect to be able to use the facilities. Not a great Hilton Experience and to be honest as an extensive hilton traveller, I would seriously consider never using Hilton - any Hilton - again. Its just not worth the money

Our stay here was a great one. Although i felt the reception staff were a little rude upon check in, we had lots of bags and they could see we were struggling but only after we had picked them all back up after checking in were we offered any assistance. One lady told us she would be with us in one moment as she carried on tapping away at her computer, then only one of the other reception staff acknowledged us.

The room we stayed in was lovely, nice and quiet apart from children running down the corridoors at early hours of the morning but thats not the hotels fault.

The pool was on the small side but lovely none the less, the gentleman on reception there who i believe to be the livingwell manager was really friendly and helpful and made our stay more enjoyable.

Breakfast was lovely, the only issue we had was that after we had our first lot of breakfast (fruit) and went up to get some cooked breakfast our table had been cleared by the time we went back including our drinks and cutlery so we had to wait to get some more (the staff could of at least waited instead of trying to rush and turn around the tables esecially as it wasnt that busy and there were tonnes of other tables available).

Room service was delicious, we had the steak baguette and it was beautiful well worth the money, although it did take around an hour to get to us and we had to call reception twice to find out where it was.

Overall the stay was ok, just a shame about some of the staff. We will probably return here as the location is great for warwick castle and stratford upon avon.

Great location on the A46/M40 junction. Warwick is within easy reach and walkable if you're fit.
Nice reception and friendly check in. Car park could do with a clear up especially down behind the castle wing where the leaf mulch is in abundance. I thought parking should be free for guests but most Hiltons are charging if they are in a tourist spot or inner city these days. Internet is free if you are Honours Gold but alas not wireless.
My room was OK but had an odd smell about it. (370) There was evidence of cigarette burns on the bedside table so maybe this used to be a smoking room and that would explain the stale smell. It needed decorating to freshen it up and some new furniture.
Had a meal in Warwick that night so can't comment on the restaurant but I did have a breakfast. Obviously bad timing on my part as they didnt have any tables set and the hot food trays were mostly empty. Take note Warwick Hilton go and visit Newcastle/Gateshead Hilton and see the difference.
A quick check out and then fight my way through the smokers right outside the main door again... All in all it was just better than poor and if i was paying personally then I would have not been satisfied.
Summary: Great staff, Rooms are tired. Move the Smokers out of the entrance.
