Stayed in a 3-bedroomed Shakespeare Lodge which was really lovely and comfortable with all mod cons. Beautiful location on the River Avon. The site was well-kept and whilst we didn't use the facilities there was a cafe serving cheap breakfasts and other meals. On the adjacent site there was a children's play area and club.
The village of Tiddington is close by and there is a pub which serves reasonably priced meals. There is also a chinese restaurant, wine shop and Spar shop.
Stratford town is a 20 minute walk away and is lovely, but very touristy. We walked in one day and got the river taxi back to the holiday park.
We also visited Warwick Castle which is expensive, but we had a couple of 2 for 1 vouchers which made it reasonable. There is plenty to do there with the jousting, demonstrations, birds of prey as well as castle ramparts, great hall and staterooms. It is extra to go in the Merlin Tower and Dungeons. There are also plenty of shops/activities to pay extra for and the food, as always in these type of places is expensive. My advice would be to take a picnic.
On the whole we went for a relaxing family break away from school and work and that is what we got.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Glad you enjoyed the area too. Our new clubhouse will be built in 2012 giving more facilities on park. Glad you enjoyed the lodges. It is well worth going the other way to The Cotswolds and the surrounding area. Hope to see you again soon. Thank you once again for the feedback.
