The entrance way looks a bit drab- very slow lift up to reception, or several flights of stairs, but the place is immaculate, and the staff very welcoming and helpful. Great value for money! Would definitely stay there again.

After reading such good reviews on TA for this hotel, we couldn't see any point paying double the price for a lot of the other hotels in Stratford. The only thing that might have put us off was the lack of on-site parking. However, we had read that the car parks were not too far away and were reasonably priced. As advised by many as the cheapest, we used the Marina car park - literally 30 seconds drive from the Premier Inn. The hotel emailed details of parking about a week before our stay and judging from their attachment, we expected to pay £12 for 3 days / 2 nights parking. However, it ended up costing £8 for 48 hours - an absolute bargain! There are two machines in the car park, make sure you use the one on the left as it updates your departure time as you insert money - otherwise we may have ended up paying £4 more! The hotel itself is everything you'd expect from a Premier Inn but is also ideally located within 2 minutes walk of the main street. There are self-service check in machines but also staff on hand to assist. The reception area leading into the restaurant was also very welcoming. The room was modern, clean with independent heating controls (easy to use although it did have a habit of turning itself on and off?!) We had breakfast on one of the two mornings at the Premier Inn but there were plenty of places locally you could go if you didn't want to eat here. On the other day, we didn't want a full breakfast so just went to M&S food (again, only a 2 minutes walk) to pick up some bits. Overall, we had a fantastic stay - we paid £78 for two nights and you certainly can't argue with that.

From outset made most welcome by experienced staff. Found to be very good value for promo price paid. Continental breakfast varied and plentiful. A little disappointed with double bed, missed my kingsized. Surprised as a location extremely popular with north Americans and would certainly expect a very large version. Considered the mattress by its creaking springs to be of lesser quality. Visited the Red Lion opposite for dinner. Made most welcome with a high quality of service. Plesantly surprised.

The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the Town Centre and accessed via an automatic door at street level but the reception is up 4 (small) sets of stairs. There is a lift however which would be easier for disabled persons or those with heavy luggage.
The reception staff were first class and offered advice on nearby parking. There is no parking on site but you may park on the pub car park opposite for 20 mins free while checking in.
I was also emailed a map of car parks by Premier a few days before my stay.
I chose the Marina car park alongside the Holiday Inn.
All day parking was £4 and by attatching further £4 tickets for following days you can just forget the car and enjoy your stay.
Our room was a double and I expected it to be quite small but the space was a vry good size.
The whole room including the bathroom was spottlessly clean.
There was a kettle with complimentary tea & coffee, a good size desk for reading or using the computer (some free wifi minutes were included) and a flat screen TV with freeview.
There was soap & shampoo in the bathroom too.
The bed was extremely comfortable.
I would definately stay there again. A great base to explore Stratford as you are within walking distance of most attrations.
