I'd like to give Stratford Manor 5 out of 5 but I can't. The service was great - really lovely staff. The room was ell equipped, comfortable and clean. Stratford Manor is a good place to stay if you want to spend the daytime in Stratford but get away from it when your day is done. It's a fairly short cab ride or a 5 minute drive out of town. 2 things let our stay down. The evening meal was dreadful. The menu looked promising but the chicken I ordered was inedible. I didn't even have anything else - it put me off. The breakfast this morning was fine - really quite good - but that evening meal should never have gone out. And it wasn't just unlucky because everything about it was bad. Even if it had been cooked well, it was just really unimaginative and amateur. Also the swimming pool was dirty. There were big clumps of hair drifting around when we used it in the evening. By the morning it was greatly improved. If QHotels can improve on the maintenance of the pool and the quality of the restaurant food, they'll have little else to worry about. I will stay there again because in other areas they're doing really well. But they need to sort out these 2 areas.

just returned from 1 night stay at the stratford manor hotel which was a xmas present from our children it included dinner bed and breakfast
room was very big,very quiet overlooking the fields,bathroom very spacious,bed really comfy
had a great time in steam room,sauna and pool prior to our meal
we ate in the shakespeare restaurant a great varied menu, food was exceptional
deaken estate wine very nice!!
staff very pleasant and helpful
bar very spacious and again staff very friendly
after a great nights sleep we had a wonderful breakfast again variety was amazing and very tasty
we had a great time there and will definately recommend and return ourselves
we finished off our wonderful present with a day trip to warwick castle 8 miles down the road
it was amazing a must for all to see well done everyone at the stratford manor!!!!

Stayed here for a couple of nights over the weekend and it was lovley. I want to say a big thank you to all the staff for making our stay so good. The rooms were clean and comfy. The food was yummy and the staff were all very friendly and polite. I have been telling everyone at work today about this place. We will be back to this lovely hotel and are even thinking of trying out another Q hotel too see if its just as good as Stratfrod Manor. You do need a car though if you are planning on visiting Stratford as its a good 10 minutes out of town - too far to walk.

First time I have stayed at this hotel but would stay here again. Everything from the rooms, restaurant and bar were very good. The restaurant and bar staff were excellant and I enjoyed my stay.
