From the first contact with 139 was a delight. The room we had was a superior Double. Large, airy and very clean. Breakfast was tops, whatever you had was delicious. Only a 15 mins from town, and away from any "Town noise". One day we stayed in the lounge for a few hours, read the papers, then was offered tea or coffee. You don't get that service in normal B & B's. We are planning to return sometime in the near future.

Just had a wonderful weekend in Bath, It was made all the better by our stay at the one three nine.
It was wonderful from the moment we arrived, everybody was so accomodating we were made tea, our cases were taken to our rooms, we were shown the breakfast room, offered advice on restaurants for the evening, etc.
The rooms were spotless, the beds so comfortable, the breakfast excellent, what more could anybody want.
Can't wait to return, thinking that December would be lovely. Many thanks.

We've just spent the weekend at the one three nine and had a wonderful time. The house is magnificent, the room beautiful, the breakfasts delicious and the hosts fabulous. Mike and Rachel take pride in their hotel and the service they provide and it shows. The little touches like the candles in the hallway, the cava for breakfast, the molton brown in the bathroom all made it feel luxurious but homely. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel!

A beautiful house, the loveliest of hosts and the most comfortable stay you could wish for and a bed and the breakfast to die for. The full English breakfast was very welcome each morning, just perfect. have never come across cava being served in a B&B before ... what a lovely thought though to include this. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending One Three Nine to everyone. Rachel and Clive, the Manager and Manageress, thank you for the lovely welcome you afforded me and my sister and to you both for being so charming.
