My wife, 2 adult children and I stayed there recently for 3 nights, in a ground floor apartment two streets behind the main guest accommodation. Calling it a hotel is being generous as it is really a large guesthouse, as most of the "hotels" in this area appear to be, They are also very expensive for what they offer especially compared to what we would be used to in Irish four and five star hotels.
The main bedroom was quite spacious and icluded a TV though this had only 4 channels and very poor reception. We moved the single bed into the second room but eventhough the bed is extremely narrow it doesn't leave much space in the second room. The shower in the ensuite was perfect and the kitchen area spacious though we didn't need to use it apart form keeping a few things in the fridge. The heaters in the bedrooms were well able to do their job but the kitchen area was cold. The upstairs bedrooms have timber floors so you will hear some morning noise as people rise but we weren't troubled by any other noise.
Breakfast is freshly prepared for each guest and is adequate, if not a huge choice. The staff are very friendly and helpful, though they did fail to prepare a promised continental breakfast as we had to leave early the last morning.
The location is excellent if you are getting a bus in from Luton or Stansted airport to Victoria station and Pimlico is nearby for a few small restaurants.
I would stay there again if there were four of us and we needed to stay in that area but not if we were just going as a couple.
