“Relatively Good Price and Very Central to Paddington”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

The title line says it all, this hotel is a great for someone who has a short stay in London and who needs to get to and from the airport quickly using either the Heathrow Express or Heathrow Connector. The room was clean but quite small, the breakfast was adequate, and yes the lift wasn't working but we had backpacks so a few stairs really weren't a problem.
We walked from Paddington in a few minutes and found there were tonnes of shops and restaurants in the area plus each access to the Paddington Tube station which connects you to the rest of London.
If you aren't going to spend much time in your room who cares if it is small right.

“Good Time”

We booked this hotel for its location and were able to walk there from Paddington. The hotel was nice and clean and the manager very helpful. When we did not like our first room he changed it for another at the front of the hotel and then moved our things to the back of the hotel for the second night. The breakfast was fine and the staff were very nice, the rooms celan and comfortable and we will definitely be back!

Room Tip: Definitely a room at the back, the front is on Sussex Road and very noisy!

Four of us stayed here in April 2011 from Australia. Great location to all London transport. Rooms a bit on the small side but clean and adequate. Breakfast unusual but quite OK. Would stay here again.

“The worst hotel in London”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2011

Booked here for 6 nights. Hotel claims to be a 4 starts hotel but in fact is just a 3 stars hotel. Rooms are really too small (my one, single, is 2.5mt x 3,5mt) and dirty. No privacy as walls are similar to paper. You can hear everything from the nearby rooms. Breakfast is just a toast and bad coffeee. Hotel policy is also to not change towels everyday or at least when you leave them on the floor. They change towel once a week or if you complain two times per week.
Management is really unpleasant. They denied to a friend of mine to come in my room because they thought I was gay and my friend was an escort called for having sex! This is definitely unthinkable in a city like London.
Also even if my room was guaranteed by my American Express they charged me directly on arrival, this was not specified anywhere and is not nice.

Room Tip: Avoid this hotel, you may find a cheaper one. Remember that is not a 4 stars hotel as claimed to be!

“Very small, but very clean, Great place for a family”

Stayed for a week in mid August, The staff is very kind and helpful, esp night clerk. The location is excellent, can walk to Paddington station and get anywhere from there, a nice neighborhood near Hyde Park. Only downside is it's very small, had to book 2 rooms for family, which was a bit nerve wracking, but the teens loved it!!! I would recommend this hotel anytime!!
