Probably one of London's most convenient hotels to get around the city being right by Victoria station & with fast connection to Gatwick Airport
Fairly recently rebranded as a Hilton and the communal areas have had a good make over - eg nice bar.
Rooms a bit tired (at least mine was) which was a shame

I got this hotel at a good deal which provided great value for the cost in London. The rooms were not luxurious, but comfortable and clean. The rooms are decorated with kind of a modern style. The beds provided a good night's sleep. You may hear announcements from Victoria Station early in the morning so try to get a room that faces away from the station. We were provided with a delicious cookie on check-in. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. They were doing this deal where you can get some extras such as 24 hour wifi and buffet breakfast for 20 extra pounds. I ended up just paying for 1 hour of wifi each night (5 pounds) and eating breakfast outside of the hotel. You can also access the internet in the business center, but you'll have to take turns with other guests. The hotel is walking distance from Buckingham Palace. Overall, a great stay in London.

Friendly and helpful staff, big clean rooms, good beds, big clean bathroom and is perfectly situated if you come to London with Gathwick express(the hotel is situated right outside Victoria Station). But it has not got free wi-fi and its expensive if you want it.

Room was spacious and the bathroom large with nice long counter. I would stay here again. Very very close to all major bus routes throughout the city. It was nice to go from LHR airport on the underground to almost The Doubletree's doorstep. Locals know the hotel by another name, remember to go through the train station towards platform one and out the side door. A nice selection of items for breakfast and the front desk was extremely helpful with any questions we had. I found out "flannels" are facecloths and need to be requested.
Our stay for 3 nights was enjoyable and relaxing.
