While in an excellent location, this property could definitely use some work! It is an older hotel, but 5-star prices should feel like 5-stars. The cost of wi-fi is outrageous, but couldn't be avoided as the stay was for a week-long business trip. Breakfast was average, but for above-average prices. In-room and gym amenities seem as dated as the rest of the hotel. All-in-all, a disappointment.

Rooms are dingy, worn and overpriced even by London standards. Breakfast is terrible. Only redeeming feature of this hotel is the Citrus restaurant which serves Italian at a reasonable price, and has friendly service.

Stayed in this hotel twice this year. Location is fantastic, just next to Green Park and walking distance to basically everywhere. Breakfast is good and concierge is very knowledgeable. However, the hotel associates are not as friendly as other Starwood properties except the night duty manager (forgot his name; but I really think he was the only friendly chap with a warm always willing to help face) and also a Filipino waitress at the restaurant.

We stayed in this hotel for pleasure for 2 nights. Actually the reviews here were a little bit frightening. We had to choose this hotel due to our agency's mistake. So our expectations were quite low. We stayed in an executive room which was comf, warm and spacious. The bed was very comfortable.

The hotel is located in a very nice and selective neighbourhood. Yet, it needs total refurbishment as it OLD. There is a strange smell of mould in the hotel lobby. It was interesting to see people having their drinks there on a Saturday afternoon under this heavy and unpleasant smell. The corridors, the breakfat hall and the rooms also have an old, outdated look.
Breakfast is good, offering a good variety. Yet, they could offer more cheese types for their international customers.
All in all, having stayed in an executive room which was quite nice and acceptable, we had a pleasant stay in Sheraton Park Lane.
