“Amazing base for family staying in London”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 August 2011

We have stayed in many serviced apartments around the world, Europa house is definitely our favourite in London.

The apartments themselves are gorgeous, friends who visited kept commenting that it was more like a real apartment than somewhere rented. Everything is both tasteful and comfortable and the kitchen is well kitted out. (the only little thing that is missing is a coat hook - which would have been useful given the weather and the amount of jackets we seemed to wear - but that's being really too picky!)

There aren't a lot of facilities for the apartments but the huge communal garden outside is just fantastic. And the playground in the middle has swings, climbig frames, slides etc. We visited with a three year old and baby in arms and having such a great place outside the back door made the stay so much easier - we popped down whenever we were could. There are steps to get down, which is tricky if you take a pushchair but the staff were great at giving us a key to the car park so we could walk down the ramp and straight out of the door.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and managers, we had everything we needed for the children and they even offered to lend us car seats when the taxi company forgot to bring them. Everyone was very friendly and wonderful withthe children.

The location is great ( we know this part of London well which probably helps). You can get tubes / buses and taxis very easily and be in the West End pretty quickly.

All in all we loved it and will definitely use this as our London base whenever we are back in the UK.

“Will ALWAYS stay here when we are in London!”

What a perfect place. Incredibly roomy apartment, spotlessly clean. Very stylishly kitted out with good quality everything.

Location was perfect for us - within walking distance from some great parks for the children (the best one was right behind the apartments) and the beautiful canal where we fed the ducks - but also just a ten minute cab ride to the West End. There is a gastro pub next door and my husband nipped in a couple of times to get some 'take-away pints' (a bit of a novelty as we live in Morocco!) and a bottle of wine.

The kitchen was wonderful with a great washer/dryer which was very handy and lovely oven/fridge/dishwasher. They kindly left a few essentials for us but there are some nice local shops just around the corner including a fabulous butcher (and of course there is always Selfridges Food Hall....). There is a maid service during the week but not on the weekend when we were left to fend for ourselves.

Only tiny complaint is that there was no heating in either of the bathrooms. There obviously were heated towel rails at some point but they weren't connected to anything. It made getting out of the bath a bit chilly. We were staying at one of the coldest times of the year though so this wouldn't be a problem for the other 11 months of the year! It certainly wouldn't stop me from returning.

We all loved Europa House and will always stay there in the future if they have availability. I've lived in London for 30 years of my life and have stayed in most of the really good aparthotels over the past couple of years but this one is head and shoulders above the rest. Heartily recommended.

“Excellent serviced apartment with a fabulous communal garden”

I have just finished a 12 day stay at Europa House and would highly recommend it for anyone seeking a serviced apartment in London. It is very well located (right next to a Gordon Ramsey pub and 5 minute walk from the tube) and the apartments themselves are spacious, well decorated and very clean.
For me the best part about these apartments was the view over the (huge) communal garden and the access to the gardens. For London in summer - it was the perfect addition to a great stay in London.
Management and staff were all very lovely.
Internet and phone is pricey and it is much cheaper to buy pre-paid on the high street but really - this is the only fault

“Great Personal Touch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2010

My wife and I stayed here on our Honeymoon in Feb. 2009, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner provided free roses and champagne when I told her we were coming for our anniversary. Breakfast was also great. We are looking forward to a return trip soon.

“Wonderful except the 1 pound per phone call charge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 July 2009

Europa House Apartments are located in a beautiful area - Maida Vale. Right next door to the Warrington Pub which was very convenient. Walking distance to nearby tube station and excellent restaurants.

Staff were very helpful and always willing to offer assistance.

Wireless internet available for 40 pounds per week.

Only complaint was we were charged 1 pound per phone call outbound. Travelling with a teenager meant I was charged a considerably excessive amount from my 300 pound deposit for his numerous phone calls to his girlfriend. 1 pound per day would be more appropriate and in line with other accomodations. Also, we were not informed of the 1 pound per phone call policy when checking in or during communications prior to booking.
