After two weeks in this poorly run establishment, we found other accommodation. London is extremely busy now, otherwise we would have left earlier. We were in Apartment 2. Although the apartment is over two floors, it is partly underground. The bedroom looks out into a small concrete light well with a locked grate up at street level. Probably a fire hazard if there was a fire upstairs, as there would be no escape.
Apt 2 is next to the building's front door. It slams constantly. The staff come and go all day, letting the door slam. It is so loud, it is clearly heard downstairs in the bedroom.
The upstairs neighbour can be heard clearly walking around. There seems to be little or no insulation between floors.
The shower floods the bathroom floor. We had to ask for several towels to mop it up each day.
During our stay, the telephone did not work. The television reception was intermittent. The internet connection was flakey and finally failed completely. We were several days without internet.
A very unpleasant experience which we don't wish to repeat.
