Just returned from a week staying at the hotel. The owners Danny and Gavin are brilliant! so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was great, thanks Gavin I loved your homemade chutney. The hotel is very clean and we were made to feel welcome the moment we stepped through the door. Danny ensures that you have a wonderful time. By the time you leave you feel as though you have known them forever. The hotel is close to the Theatre I went to see Dreamboats and Petticoats and had a brilliant evening.I would recommend a visit. We will definately be returning to the McHalls Hotel in the future. Thanks to the best hosts for a very enjoyable time.

We stayed with Danny & Gavin at McHalls on the 17th December. We stayed in room 11 - a twin room. We were greeted by Danny as if we were old friends - what a great guy. The reception, bar/lounge area & dining room on the ground floor are clean, bright & welcoming (especially if Danny is in the vicinity!!!). We were a bit unsure when we first pulled up outside the hotel as it is close to several night clubs/pubs but our room faced onto them & we had a lovely nights sleep - on that note the bed & pillows were one of the best I have slept on & my friend said the same. The room was adequate - everything was there we needed. If I have to put a negative, the shower was fairly poor but it served it's purpose. Breakfast cooked by Gavin was fantastic - everyone (not just our table) had clean plates & extra coffee/toast etc was brilliant. The Sunday lunches looked fantastic - we were very envious we had already eaten!! Overall the hotel is fabulous - Danny is the perfect host & Gavin's cooking is lovely. We will be back. Thanks guys.

Just back from Blackpool and stayed in McHalls; rooms are spotless and comfortable. The welcome and easy going nature of your hosts Danny and Gavin is second to none. Nothing is to much trouble. Extensive food menu you can either eat in the bar or the restaurant. Brekkie delicious. Would definatley recommend this hotel
