nice clean and welcoming hotel good value for money very nice breakfast host dave and caroline could not do enough for us well situated would certainly stay here again

we stayed for one night as a family the room was clean and the owners were nice and wanted to help however the room smelled terribly of stale smoke despite it being a non smokers room and they started doing karaoke at 10pm which went on till 1am it was so loud we could hear every word and note it kept us awke and woke the kids up who were then crying. we got up to complain in the morning at 8:30 and they werent even up. breakfast is not served until 9:30! which is useless to a family with young children. also we booked parking but they didnt have any spaces so we had to park 2 steets away, highly inconveniant when you have a 8 month old. we also got woken up at 4am with someone on there phone outside our door. if it was £10 a night i wouldnt be upset but we paid £76 for one night four people in one room. terrible hotel!! wheres the hotel inspector!!

Initial impressions very good. Nice welcome and clean Family room, kids loved the bunk beds. On a cold day the room was lovely and warm. Only downside was that we stayed directly above the bar, and whilst husband and children were fast asleep, I was kept awake until 1.30 am (the music finally went off at 1.00 am) with music and noise from the bar downstairs which I thought was very inconsiderate. Breakfast was good.

we stayed for 1 night at the kings cross hotel ,we were told there would be parking and there wasnt so we had 2 park 2 roads away.felt on arrival was not very welcoming didnt even no owners names .then with our bags had to go up four flights of stairs =( the people in the next room were very very noisey slaming doors and banging all nite till 12 ish then at 1 we heard the door bell ring .rooms were very clean but on suite was tiny could not more in shower ,had 2 ask what time breakfast was ,but have 2 say its was excellent .when we left we came downstairs and was just told 2 leave key on table no goodbye or nothing and we were very disapointed with the lack of comunication .
