“Great little B&B very friendly staff :)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 August 2011

Having just returned from a night stay here I had to leave a review to say how lovely our stay was.

On arrival (very early hours before we were due to check) we were told our rooms was not ready yet but was shown which ones were ours and given the key so we could come back a bit later. Very helpful owners showed us which way to the town and off we went.

Its location is about a 10 minute walk from the town centre but it is an easy route to remember!

The rooms were good, clean with an ensuite shower and toilet also had tea/coffee facilities.

The breakfast was great just what you needed to set you up for the day the eggs were cooked to perfection!

Overall had a very nice stay nothing was too much trouble for them and they are very friendly and helpful. If we go back to Blackpool we will definatly be staying here again.

Myself (19), Girlfriend (17) and 2 male friends (17) stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in July. Staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We expected to have to pay a deposit and to have a curfew set by the management due to our age but this could not be further from the truth. We were treated as any other guest in a very fair and respectful manner.
The bedrooms were fantastic, modern, stylish and very clean. The same could be said for the en-suite bathrooms.
Upon leaving the hotel, the staff allowed us to leave our cases in a secure room, which isnt technically part of the package, so we were very grateful. After checking out, we were also allowed to stay in the lounge area and also given a complimentary drink while we waited for our coach.
The only down-side to the whole experience, is very minor and that is the decor down stairs, very tacky and dated and not fitting of the magnificent rooms upstairs. If this was corrected, I would easily give it a 5* rating.
Overall a great place to stay and the Alandene hotel made our stay in blackpool a most enjoyable one, hats off to them. Would definitely recommend and we will be visiting them again.

“lovely hotelliers but decor needed some major TLC”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 June 2011

we stayed at the Alandene for 1 nite in june and i have to say the owners were very welcoming and very very accomodating booking taxis letting us phone for food and very good about us knocking as we had one key per room but came back in dribs and drabs

some rooms were lovely with en suite and roomy but out room was on the small side but very clean and although we didn't have en suite which Thomas cook had told us we would have we did have the use of a private bathroom which had its own key.

the only down side to the Alandene wasthe downstairs decor. you walk into a coridoor with green carpet and fake ivy and plant feature with tacky water feature, the downstairs bar needed refurbushing and had horrible brown stains on the walls!!!

overall it was value for money and the friendly and obliging owners made it a comfortable stay

“Excellent hotel, staff very friendly and helpful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 June 2011

I stayed here for one night as part of my hen do. When we arrived the owners showed us to our rooms and were very helpful answering any questions we had. They booked taxi's for us and would do anything they could to help us out.
The bedrooms were very modern with comfortable beds and full length mirrors-a must for getting ready before a night out! Also had tea and coffee making facilties which is another plus point!
The brekfast the next day was excellent, plenty to eat and drink.
I would definately recommend this hotel and will return on my next stay in Blackpool for sure
