We. Stayed at The New Chelvedon for a couple of nights during half term. After driving around for about 45 mins searching for somewhere to park we arrived and were welcomed by the lovely landlady who was beyond friendly. Then we went to our room..there was a couple of steps down to another little room where my daughter slept,a good idea if it wasn't freezing cold, thick with dust and had a tv that refused to work. The main part of the room was ok,except one of the bedside lights didn't work and our tv also didn't work! The bathroom needed a bit of attention, the sink moved and the shower although lovely and hot was in a tiny cubicle. Because we found so much to do we really didn't spend much time in the room, the location could hardly be better, minutes from the tower, sea life centre and dungeon. Also the breakfast was very nice with a good choice. Overall we had a brill time in Blackpool but although the hotel had some good points a couple of nights was enough.oh and pack a hairdryer as there wasn't one in the room!
