“Great Weekend”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2011

We have just returned from a great weekend at the Balmoral , I was worried about going when I read some of the reviews on here but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and I felt nothing was too much trouble for them. The entertainment was fantastic, we took our 3 year old grandson and as it was full of weekend stag and hen parties we didn't want to drag him out at night so we stayed in the hotel and had a great time. There was a free buffet, bingo and a quiz to entertain us and James was fantastic. The food was very good, there is a restaurant downstairs and we had the best curry we have had in a very long time,it was fresh and very tasty. The breakfast was very good, I read on here that you only get one of everything and yes you do but that is more than enough and if you wanted more i'm sure they would bring you more but to be honest there was more choice in cereals, fresh fruit and fresh orange juice you could have filled up on all that first. All in all we were very happy with the staff, food and entertainment. The rooms were a bit dated and in need of some modernisation but the sheets and towels were very clean and the cleaner came in to clean every day. This would not put me off going back again. We will be booking again for next year and this time we will be staying longer. Thanks all at the Balmoral ...

Room Tip: We stayed in the of the downstairs rooms and it was very quiet.

“A pleasant and friendly stay”

I recently stayed in this hotel whilst visiting friends on the 30th Sept-2nd October. I found the staff to be welcoming and very friendly and helpful. Some modernizing needed but the hotel was brilliantly located on the sea front, busy clean and tidy and had everything we needed with a charming old English by the seaside atmosphere. Could have longer breakfast hours which we informed the manager about and they are looking to extend but on a positive note it was great to have an evening restaurant on site.

We have just returned from staying at the Balmoral from Monday to Friday last week. As always (we have stayed here for the last few years) we found it to be very clean and confortable with very good food. The staff are always exceptionally friendly and welcoming and the entertainment is excellent. The Balmoral has a really good atmosphere.

“Thanks for a great holiday for my Mum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2011

I booked my elderly Mum into this hotel so she could meet up with friends in a nearby hotel. She stayed on her own from Monday to Friday and had a great time. She said that the service and care shown by every member of staff was fantastic. They couldn't do enough for her. She really enjoyed the entertainment and loved the food.
She visited friends in larger hotels but prefered The Balmoral. She found it to be frendlier with a much more personal service. The staff were courteous and hard working. Mum would definitely go back. I can't priase the hotel staff enough for making my Mum's holiday so special. Thank you to you all.

“Best hotel in Blackpool”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 September 2011

Contrary to a completely untrue and malicious review given by my impersonator the Balmoral Hotel is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are perfect, the food is mouth watering and the staff are top notch. I would recommend the Hotel to anyone, you won't be disappointed!
