“Excellant”

From day one, very welcoming, good apartment for a couple, everything you need, home from home. My wife is disabled and the access to our apartment was brilliant, no steps for her. Could park outside our own front door, no problems, access appears narrow, but it's deceptive, I have a large estate car which I could easily drive down. Freeview is good, we brought our dvd player, Mark & Mimi said fine. Yes can get cold, but ask for more blankets or another heater, quite happy to give you extras to make you stay comfortable, defiantly will come again.

I tried to help you as soon as I heard that you were not happy. I would have gladly given you all the extra bedding you wanted to make you more comfortable, if only you'd have said before you went shopping. No-one has ever complained about the bed or sofa bed before you, so I wasn't to know that you had a problem unless you told me. When you did tell me it was too late for me to help you. As for the car parking, you were helped to get parked up and we're always happy to help anyone that feels they can't get parked up properly during their stay, again you only have to say. The car parking entrance is wide enough to fit a transit van down, so a Ford Mondeo should fit down too. As for being cold the heating is on in the morning for over an hour and every evening for 3-4 hours. There is also a heater provided for to use at your own convenience. I feel saddened that you've left this report on here after I tried to help you and to make it right as I wouldn't want anyone to leave feeling unhappy.

“Excellent holiday, would definitely recommend!!”

Just returned from a weeks holiday at the Lindisfarne in Blackpool and had a really good time. The apartments are extremely clean and are a good size for a family. It even had a new fitted kitchen! The couple that run the place are very helpful and welcoming. The location is ideal as everything is on hand and easily reached by the buses, trams or walking. It was nice and quiet at night time so we all had a good sleep without noisy disturbances. The price was good too, very reasonable for what we got. So in all, an excellent memorable holiday for all the right reasons! Highly recommended and we will be back!!

“dont get ripped off”

I booked to stay at Lindisfarne for the new year break 2008. I booked over the phone and was promised a 2 bedroom flat facing the main road. I paid a deposit over the phone. When my husband and I arrived, we were given a one bedroom flat at the back which was very cramped. My husband didn`t want to complain as he was worried that we may lose the deposit and not get anywhere else on New Years eve. It was very cold in the flat and the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in (I hardly slept). My overall impression was the owners were very stingy and the cheapest of every thing would do. The side road to the car park at the back was also very, very narrow. don`t turn up in a 4x4! We wouldn`t stay at the Lindisfarne again.

Firstly I would like to know exactly when you think you stayed with us, as during the dates you claim to have stayed we know full well that we had regular guests staying in that particular apartment at that time. We do not have any two bedroom apartments so we would never take a booking for this, plus this is always pointed out during an enquiry. You also say that you paid a deposit over the phone, well this is impossible because we have never had the facilities to take payments over the phone, so that would never have happened either. Adequate heating is provided for you to use as you require aswell as the central heating as it is most likely to be cold in Blackpool during December and January. Lastly I would like to know why it took you until July to write a review on my "rip off" accomodation?
