I have one criticism and that is there is no left luggage facility. That said, great staff clean comfy rooms and very affordable. If you want a Ritz Hotel experience then book the Ritz Hotel and pay their prices.

Just spent 2 nights at Brighton Seafront Travelodge. It was the worst 2 nights I have had in a long while. The bed was lumpy, the pillows were about 2 cms thick. The shower room was tired looking and really needs updating. I know not to expect luxury at a Travelodge but this is one of the worst I have stayed in.
Also because our room overlooked the main road, albeit 7 floors up, we could hear the noise of the revellers outside so did not get to sleep until the early hours and then got woken up by banging doors of later arrivals.
Not to be recommended and I certainly shan't be returning.
Receptionist was pleasant and we checked in fast then went to our first room to find it hadnt been cleaned after previous people had stayed, so I complained and the receptionist was apologetic and changed our room with no hassle. The new room was clean-ish but the bed was awful it was so soft and worn out that me and my partner both rolled into each other and the lousy 1 pillow they give you is rediculous! The furniture was in bad way with trim hanging off and the electric heater looked like it was going to fall off the wall. I know it's a cheaper hotel but come on this was crazy!! Never again I'll stay in premier inn's in future as travelodge have slipped into YMCA status
I stayed in this hotel with my partner for a long weekend in Brighton last summer. We were appalled to find stains on the bed sheets and a shower cubicle that you can barely move in which was dirty. We both had to wear flip flops in the shower as despite complaints, nothing was done. It was in the middle of a heat wave and our bedroom window wouldn't even open. It was so hot that if we had an animal in there we'd probably get charged for animal cruelty.
The size of the room was beyond ridiculous and we were completely horrified that we were expected to pay to sleep in what can only be described as a filthy box.
I would NEVER stay in a Travelodge again and wouldn't dream of recommending it to anyone. I emailed to tell them and now they keep sending me special offers and discounted stays. I wouldn't stay again if I was paid!
Recently used this hotel as a base for a Hen night. We looked for the cheapest hotels around and this was it! Were comfortable beds, smooth check in and overall a nice stay (for the minimal time we used it) of course should you wish to have a swimming pool etc you would look else where, but for a bed for the night and a safe haven this is fine!
