My daughters booked myself and my husband into myhotel for one night ,for my 50th birthday ,i just wanted to have a look round the lanes have a lovely meal in cote, then get a good nights sleep but when we looked at our room it was funky we laughed how mondern it was but it didnt have a bath only shower then i pulled up the blind and what a view just blue large bins 6 or more so i pulled down the blind again and thought its only one night it doesnt matter, bbc1 and itv didnt work no sound on one channel the other you couldnt watch, but we did have a lovely time in brighton itself but at about 12 o clock i heard a smashing sound that made me jump it was the pub on the corner and myhotel emptying crates of bottles untill about 2 or 3 in the morning im not sure,i wasnt happy .room number 199 ,told staff no joy. my daughter telephoned to complain we was offered to stay one more time in a different room but only a standard room wow thankyou myhotel.

Room Tip: dont choose room 199 or rooms near it.

“Chic is the word”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

Stayed here last year, well actually the year before now, and have to admit, my husband and I were very happy we did. The only downside was the breakfasts, they were very disappointing.

I would recommed staying here, the rooms are so chic, and clean. I went back with my sister this weekend and I have to admit, didn't stay here because of the breakfasts last year. Now wish we had.

Did walk on by and it still looks as lovely as lt did ast year.

“The best hotel in Brighton”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Me and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel on the 17th of January, 2012 for one night.
I must admit, the service has been outstanding, the style- very futuristic and the bed sheets have had a great quality.

Thank you! myHotel Brighton has made our stay just brilliant!

I am looking very forward to come back in summer time.

P.S. You simply have to try the pina colada cocktail in the merkaba bar - it's wonderful:)

Room Tip: 387 (Heaven room) - quiet, comfortable, stylish and has that great athmosphere.

“Chic & Cool”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

The location is nearer to the north lanes than the pier and just behind the Royal Pavillion, lots of funky vintage shops in the roads behind the hotel and good choice of quirky bars and restaurants nearby. Our room was brightly coloured and modern although had a feng shui feel to it and although basic had everything you need, including tea and coffee making facilities which is always nice.
The breakfast was basic although there weren't many options for someone who doesn't eat pork, the Merkaba bar is very pleasant and doesn't feel like it's part of the hotel, indeed there seemed to be visitors coming in that were not hotel guests and it got pleasantly busy which meant you can have a good night without leaving the hotel!
I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be in the middle of everything and yet discover an unseen Brighton around the north lanes.

“Somewhere really different”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

What a fab and funky place to stay. In the heart of Brighton, next door to all you need and more. My Hotel was a real pleasure. Helpful staff, a clean and well appointed room and easy to get around. Top shower.

A bit noisy on the front so if you are after a quite night ask for a room at the back.
