The Studio lived up to the reviews we read before our visit, and exceeded them. It proved to be the perfect retreat, in a quiet location and ideal for exploring the many treats this area offers. The Studio itself is immaculate with everything we needed for our very comfortable stay, we would love to return for a longer stay. The pub across the road is extremely friendly and a mine of local information. Applehay Studio is truly brilliant!

They really have thought of everything. Even down to a spare razor in case your man forgets one and providing shower gel. Luxurious towels, warm welcome and a little home from home.

Lovely cosy accomodation, much more space and privacy than a B&B but not as much as renting a cottage, a perfect in-between. We recevied a warm and friendly welcome from Jo and Alan who gave us some excellent reccomendations for local places to eat; the breakfast provided was substantial enough to provide us with an evening meal when we were too tired to go out again! Croissants, organic bread, homemade jam, yogurts, fresh fruit, cereals and eggs, milk and plenty of tea and coffee - some of the bigger, more commercial B&B's could learn a lot here. The village pub across the road looked a bi run down, not very appealling so we didn't venture in - that is beyond these guys control and is the only disappointment we could think of.

This is a lovely place to stay, very pretty, clean and comfortable.

The provided continental breakfast and kitchen gives you the sort of independance you cant usually have at a B and B.

Lots of exciting places to visit nearby and kind and helpful hosts.
