I booked this hotel for me and my partner as a new year treat. On arrive we were greeted by a female receptionist who promptly gave us our key ran through house keeping and pointed it us to our room. The room was small yet comfortable! Very clean! However slightly to hot! The breakfast included in the very reasonable price of £210 for three nights over the new year period, was yummy and varied. The young girl serving was also very pleasant. We had a problem one night with the people above us making to much noise. Although this was not the hotels fault they were prompt in sorting the problem and in fact moved them to another room. We were also offered a free drink on new years eve. There was also a very pleasant gentleman that worked there who was lovely and interested in our trips out and always said. So around it was a good stay I was very happy. As a 21 year old I didn't feel out of place and was really happy it's my choice. I find it hard to believe that people have written such harsh things about it! As least only two people had a bad time. Keep up the good work. Thank you!

Stayed here for 1 night only but had no complaints. We had to book the night before because we were attending a funeral & found the receptionist very helpful. We checked in 11.00pm without any problem. The room was clean, warm & comfortable. The breakfast menu had a good choice. Overall, for what we paid & being a last minute booking we got excellant value.
The only thing I could possibly complain about is that the shower - I had it at a nice temperature & twice during showering the water flow suddenly became freezing cold.
If arriving late or in the dark, the hotel entrance is on the roundabout opposite the entrance of the large hotel on the opposite side of the street and the signage was not very clear coming in from the direction we approached.

We had just one night here, the room was comfortable and clean, but very warm (I think they were expecting a colder November day). All the radiators were off, but it was still so warm we had the windows open most of the time - but that is far better than being cold.

Like all Best Westerns, they are a little 'sparse' in the bathrooms with small towels, but hey, this is not a five star Hotel and you get what you pay for.

All the staff were pleasant and very helpful and breakfast was excellent with a very good choice of freshly cooked food.

I'd definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at various in Bournemouth on many occasions but this hotel has to be the best by far for value for money, cleanliness, polite and friendly staff and food. It is very central for walking into the town. The rooms are bright and airy and exceptionally clean. The price is value for money especially as breakfast is included which is well cokked and presented. The satff are very friendly, polite and helpful. There is a nice lounge with 24 hour reception and bar. We would certainly stay there again and we highly recommend this hotel.
