Stayed here for four nights. The hotel staff were friendly and polite and the breakfast was adequate.
The room we stayed in was very, very small - we were actually on a business trip so had more clothes than would have been necessary for a leisure break and the wardrobe seemed even smaller than a single one. We had trouble fitting our clothes in so had to lay them on the shelves. Apart from that, the room, bathroom and whole hotel was very modern and clean. The mattresses (twin room) were obviously very worn and they had been covered by thick duvets through which the springs could still be felt. There was no chair in the room so if we wanted to sit down it had to be on the beds. There was a tiny bin in the the bathroom but none in the bedroom and, when we requested one, returned to our room to find the bin from the bathroom had been moved to the bedroom! Considering the fact that the hotel was almost empty I cannot understand why the staff could not supply a bin - despite us asking three times! Also, each day we were supplied with only one hand towel which didn't make sense in a twin room. We were given another on request but it got a bit annoying to have to ask each day. I would advise anyone booking to stay at this hotel to avoid the rooms in the front as there is a lot of noise from people at the tables outside during the evening - one night it went on until 1.30 a.m.! However, despite small aggravations we may stay here again but hopefully would be able to book a larger room.
