Our first visit to Torquay and couldn't have picked a better place to stay than the Haytor Hotel. Great location (literally a couple of minutes walk to the harbour) lovely, spotlessly clean rooms with everything you need. Breakfasts excellent, service first class. Will definitely return to this hotel.

We've now visited twice and had an exemplary stay on both occasions. The hotel itself is lovely, well-positioned and spotlessly clean.

The staff are all welcoming and accommodating, and breakfast each morning was excellent.

A delightful few days - we will undoubtedly look forward to visiting again!

first class hotel,very friendly staff I cannot fault the hotel

Me and my wife stayed here for a weekend break and what a little gem it is. We booked a four poster room and although maybe a bit small for a king size four poster who cares as it was fantastically comfortable, very nicely decorated and immaculately clean and tidy. The breakfast was nice and set us nicely for our days out and about. My only minor gripe was when we got down to breakfast at 0900 the orange juice had run out and it did take quite a while for it to be re-filled on both mornings we were there, but there were three types of juice so still plenty to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful so overall I have to say that we really enjoyed our stay and would choose to stay here again and definitely recommend it to friends and family.
