this is like living in a residential care home for the elderly, average age of the guests must be around 80 years.our room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, when i asked at reception for the room to be fumigated a cleaner ? who happened to be in reception at that time strongly denied that this was the case, and became very confrontational, however the receptionist intervened and said the problem would be addressed, and it was. the rooms are very basic, and decorated in the style of the eighties, as is the rest of the hotel.i dont know the room rates for this hotel, as we came via a coach tour operator, but i guess they must be quite low, as we didnt pay much for the package, and this is reflected in the quality and quantity of the food. the only positive thing i can say about this hotel is the fact that for the duration of our stay (4 days) we had a pretty young waitress, who was both efficient and charming.its true, you get what you pay for, here you dont pay much, and you dont get much.
