Very impressed with our three night stay here. This is a little more expensive than your average guesthouse accommodation, but you certainly get added value for what you pay.

The location is dead in the centre of town (worth getting your directions sorted beforehand if you are driving - St Ives is not that easy to navigate on your first visit). The guesthouse has helpfully reserved parking spaces in the nearby train station carpark. Our room had a fantastic view out over the sea and town.

Breakfasts were excellent and varied. The hosts were extremely helpful with regards recommendations for what to see in St Ives and further afield. They were also able to provide complimentary tickets to The Tate.

Would recommend/stay again.

Room tip: Ask about the view from the room

Seaforth is close enough to the train station to roll a large suitcase in the rain. Big plus. Room #1 on the top floor has a beautiful view of St. Ives harbor, but it is small even by European standards. Its main disadvantage is the short hallway dash required to get to your private bath. A single bathrobe is provided to cover the trip. Purple to discourage theft, probably.
The ground floor suite is spacious -- bedroom, bath, and sitting room. Its main disadvantage is its location at street level, so you can expect the click-clack of high heels on Skidden Hill pavement after each pub closes.
Carl and Debbie are superb hosts and tour directors. Their breakfast selections are diverse and delicious. We found their opinions about local restaurants, day trips, and points of interest right on target for our three-day, four-night night stay. The complimentary passes to Tate St Ives and Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden will save you £10 each.

Our stay at Seaforth had to be short but it was very sweet. We would have had a room with a view but had to change our arrangements at very short notice; however the only room available, despite lacking a view, had all the goodies detailed in other reviews. There was no bath, but the shower was the best one we have ever experienced, with high pressure piping hot water and a heated towel rail which added luxury to the large soft towels.

To sum up, the main good points were: the shower, the brilliant breakfasts, the artefacts and the luxuriously comfortable bed.

The only disadvantage was that we found parking the car outside to unload our luggage, before having to drive to the station car park, was a bit of a challenge.

We'll be back!!!

Room tip: Book early to get a room with a view.

We have just spent three nights at Seaforth. What a lovely B&B, perfectly clean with quirky and tasteful decor, beautiful room with great views over the bay. Real milk instead of plastic cartons and chocs on the bed, beautiful breakfast with fresh fruit and also breakfast on hot dinner plates - attention to details that make a real difference. Great friendly hosts who were very Informative. Thank you so much!

... like the carefully arranged pebbles from the nearby beach, dotted on surfaces and decorating rooms. Candles in the hallway, leading you to the sunny breakfast room, where a delicious cooked breakfast awaits. The fluffiest dressing gown and luxury towels, comfortable bed, crispest sheets and plumpest cushions. Then we were handed a parking permit for the local train station and of course a Tate members card for a gallery visit. What else is there, the view... stunning! The location... perfect. The welcome... friendly. A lovely place to stay in St Ives.
