Came to newquay for new years, my mates back home rave about the place so thought id test the water myself... Let me tell you best decision i ever made!.. Newquay rocks at new year.
Absolutely everyone was in fancy dress, with some real creative costumes. that atmosphere was just off the wall! with the entire town filled at midnight.
Stayed at the reef surf lodge which was awsome,
there were some rules you had to abide by but seems to be the same as anywhere i stay lately. the rooms were slick, just what us boys needed! location was rad, see you next year you sexy ladies. cant wait for another massive night in newquay.

I stayed at reef with a group of 6 girls, all of us are 16. "No ID, No Newquay" is the stupidest saying i've ever come across. We rarely sobered up the entire time we were there. Jason the security guard is the NICEST man on earth, overlooks pretty much everything if you befriend him. They said no alcohol in the room but we had it in there constantly an they never said anything. Only time we got into trouble was for hanging out the window at four in the morning and that was merely a vague warning. DEFO recommend, jokes people in the lodge everyone really friendly. The surfing lessons are also a good laugh. No wardrobes though!

I stayed at Reef Island Surf lodge at the weekend and it was great, friendly staff, clean rooms.
The rooms are basic but hey at £25 a night or so it is a bargain.
Went for a surfing lesson as well which was great fun
Central location close to the pubs and clubs.
Would defiately recommend it.

our family are soooo proper surf dudes and so wanted a late minute break and we came across Reef Island... made one simple call to a friendly member of staff and within minutes had decided this wud be the place to stay... what we had seen online, heard and read about was soooo true... we wud highly recommend to any young family... looking to go back very soon......
