We stayed @ Trebarwith with Nigel(Manager) x 2 in April+Sept/Oct 2010. He and his wife are both CHARMING people...let NO reviewer tell U otherwise.
I am a NEWQUAY boy,born and bred,and,take it from me,there is no finer place to stay.
The location,the views, are to die for,and ALL the staff were so helpful. I have used this hotel for many years now,as I visit my parents graves in Newquay frequently.
I should add that I have just retired as a British Airways B747 Captain,,and have enjoyed the perks of staying in the world's FINEST hotels..
What utter bunkum is the odd "isolated" negative review of Trebarwith..I beg reader's of this hotel to totally ignore such stupid/undeserved comments.
The TREBARWITH is right up there with the BEST

This is our 6th year of staying at the Trebarwith and yet again we've had an amazing holiday.
The stunning view out of the bay window sees across beautiful beaches. The staff are extremely helpful and will do anything to help. My kids really love the fact we only have to walk down the beach steps and we are on the sand ready to check out the beach and rock pools.
The swimming pool is great too.
We've already rebooked for next year!!

We have just returned from a 3 night break with our toddler, and can't praise the hotel enough. It was absolutely perfect. Rooms were clean and well presented. The views from our room on the first floor were stunning, the hotel was perfectly positioned - far enough from the centre of town to be peaceful, yet close enough for all the amenities.

Staff were friendly and helpful at all times, we really couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The swimming pool was lovely, bar was quiet but it was October, so to be expected. All in all, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a friendly and relaxing break.

Having stayed here before we knew what to expect....we stayed in the same family room and was pleased to see that they had upgraded the TV as this was the only negative that I wrote in my review last time! Staff were very friendly especially at breakfast and the housekeeping is with out a doubt 1st class. Yes, the hotel is "dated" some what but with it's glorious location and stunning view from our bedroom (Room 26) I have no complaints at all. We will be back!
