I was part of the Daish's group mentioned by Isabella65 and just wanted to contribute to the review. What a wonderful stay we had! We were very well looked after by the staff, the location was perfect. (We didn't want to go very far, but there were some lovely scenic walks nearby) Mostly we stayed in and like Isabella said, the entertainment was enjoyed by everyone. (our favourite being the singer who put on the 60's In Dreams show. What a laugh we had. He was very entertaining, funny and sang all our favourite songs) and we gave him a much deserved standing ovation at the end. Great memories. I will be booking for Christmas next...

I travelled with a group of friends and because we all like to stay in the hotel in the evenings and have a good laugh and a sing- this was the perfect hotel for us. They had a fabulous guy doing a 60's show with all of the music we all love, Elvis, Roy Orbison etc. It made our stay! We will certainly be back again next year. We highly recommend it.

Sunday entertainment was great fun and laughter

we stayed at the barrowfield over the august bank holiday.rooms were clean towels ect.food was quite good.ballroom very good.bathrooms need up dateing we had three rooms all with showers over the baths to get your electricity was like from 2nd world war!!! .restaurant young lady did not look very happy in her job specially if you asked for more butter!!!!no trips out specially on a sunday when places were very hard to get to .august bank holiday and the bar calling last orders at 10.30!!!the staff at this hotel seem to do alot of shoulder shrugging!!i think we will by-pass this hotel next time
