Small dated hotel. Poor ventilation in room and extremely small en suite.
Car park inadequate.
The saving grace of this hotel were the friendly staff

The food and service was very good, cleanliness was good, but all the fixtures and fittings were very dated. There was no pressure in the water, therefore having a shower was not good at all, and the toilet systern took anything up to 30 minutes to fill. The drains smelled very bad, particularly the downstairs public toilet, it was so bad that it made me wretch. There was a sitting room to the front of the property with some books to read, but this room was occupied by the hotel cat, and was full of cat dander and smelled ot cats!! Parking would have been better with allocated parking bays, instead there always seemed to be not enough room to park. The room was very small, and therefore was very stuffy and hot, so much so we had to buy a fan. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody with walking disabilities as the stairs were very steep and there was no lift.

On a positive note, the resort was very pretty, and would have been exceptional, except for the fact, there was no convenience shop, the coastal paths were used as a dogs toilet so either the smell was appaling or you had to watch where you were walking or both. The beach was so pretty but why wasnt there anybody to clean it, due to the type of litter bins seagulls just helped themselves.

We were booked in for 7 days but came home 3 days early as the smell of the hotel was unbearable, and so we checked out.

Small bedroom - bathroom tiny not adequate (more room in a caravan). Cramped in Breakfast room. Very disappointing. Lounge small with bags of linen in - no room to sit.
The Hotel is opposite the lovely Porth beach but that is all it has going for it.

Room was very cramped with a bathroom no bigger than a broom cupboard - bed was exceedingly hard and got very little sleep due to this and little ventilation from the very small window. Breakfast was as described but no healthy options. Bar only opened on request - no one was at the desk on our departure to ask if we had enjoyed our stay etc.
