Hotel location convenient for the purpose. Arrived early for check-in and Reception staff were not flexible even though it was clear that many rooms would already be clear well before 1330 which was best time offered - their right of course but not a good service feeling. Breakfast following morning was badly organised - having one person to greet and walk guests to a table is nice if there is not a queue of 7 people waiting while this is done in a large dining room. Finally got to a table and coffee didn't come until after a couple of promptings. Stayed in Hotel du Vin last time which was in a different league but very expensive - high quality hotel just outside Cambridge will be preferred option next time.

I stayed for just one night at the end of January, on my own. I had a large double room, with a very large comfortable bed, flat screen tv, large wardrobe and plenty of drawers, and a dressing table. The only negative was the windows appeared to be single glazed, which let a lot of outdoor noise through, however, this is the third hotel I have stayed in in Cambridge and they have all had this problem. I had two windows on different sides both with nice views over the park. Breakfast offered a good range of choice, although service was a little slow. Staff in reception were polite and professional. It was a short but pleasant stay.

A great spot off Parker's Piece and stunning views over the park. Rooms are a bit careworn and kingsized bed was two singles pushed together with a duvet holding them together.

We aere in a party of four. One of us had a suite which was better.

MY husband and I only stayed 1 night, but we had a huge room with a kingsize bed, we had a good range of beverages, plus a bottle of mineral water and a bowl of fresh fruit. There were slippers and robes in the room too. The room was very clean and the staff were very good too, we had a pre-dinner drink in the bar which was a very nice room. The meal we had in the restaurant was excellent and the staff very friendly, we had a full English breakfast in the morning and once again the variety was excellent so too the service, I woul definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
