The rooms are clean and reasonably comfortable, although they are small and mine only had a single bed.
The hotel is on a busy road and the rooms don't have double glazing, so there is some traffic noise. It is however only a short walk to the town centre, which is a plus.
The breakfast is expensive and sub-standard - £5.95 for the continental buffet, which consists of cereal and stale pastries. The English Breakfast is a massive £10.95 for low quality food and not much of it. If I stay here again, I would go elsewhere for breakfast.
In terms of staff, some on reception or at breakfast were friendly, efficient and helpful, others were thoroughly disinterested and disorganised.
I might be tempted to stay here again, but would certainly explore other options before booking.
