Yuck, bleuuugh boring hotel on busy road. When you walk in there is a chalkboard right on pavement advertising for staff that at least prepares you for the fact there aren't any. Weird youth hostel feel to lobby and no warm welcome here, just a general sizing up. No food available at weekends apart from sandiwiches (!) and pretty foul breakfast swimming in grease or a plastic wrapped, plastic tasting Danish. One of those soul destroying establishments that make you want to stay at home with the duvet over your head.

I really enjoyed staying here. the friendly and helpful staff made the experience very stress free and relaxed. i was worried about the possibility og arriving late, but was told that food would be made available if I called to let them know. A delicious breakfast was served in my room (no extra charge). My room, although on the small size, it was very clean, comfortable and contained everything needed for an enjoyable stay.

We stayed for one night at a weekend, price was a brilliant £55 a night with full breakfast included. Although we were out most of the day, when we returned quite late staff were really helpful. Accommodation was very clean and nicely decorated with a full range of teas, coffee and biscuits. Menu in the evening was no frills and although we did not eat, it looked well presented and good quality. Breakfast was a mix of continental and full english and was presented well and quality was good. Throughout the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Well done!

I stayed at the Best Western Alexandra Hotel in High Wycombe on the 7th August. I chose the hotel purely due to its location as its in the centre of high wycombe but i was absolutley delighted by the staff and the service recieved. Nothing seemed to much trouble they were all very professional the male receptionist on duty, evening waiter and male breakfast waiter were welcomming and helpful.
The room was clean and could maybe do with updating.
All in all i thoroughly enjoyed my stay and have already booked my next visit!
